Monzo is hiring for a Chief of Staff to the CEO. This person will work alongside the CEO and their EA to amplify the impact of the Chief Executive’s role.
Your primary responsibility will be ensuring our Chief Executive is effective in their role. This means supporting them in their day-to-day relationships with their direct reports and company-wide engagement, as well as with broader stakeholder management including regulators, investors/shareholders and of course the Board from time to time.
The role
You will be responsible for:
- Serve as liaison between staff, executives, senior leaders, and CEO, regarding company climate, Monzonaut well-being, project updates, proposals, and planning
- Work closely with the Collective leads on Monzo strategy and execution including helping them manage key data and metrics related to company KPIs
- Build and develop relationships with all employees for increased efficiency and effective responsiveness into existing operations, and help to define new operational strategies, working with CEO and executives on policies, processes and operational programs
- Serve as a subject matter expert in Monzo business operations, handling inquiries and developing action plans to address them, and assisting with the preparation and dissemination of communications
You should apply if you are:
- Highly analytical and proficient with our full data stack including all of the following: Looker, Excel, SQL, Python (basic), G-Suite, Adobe and Webflow
- Experienced and effective at prioritisation at a tactical and strategic level, with clear examples of helping a C-level executive work more effectively
- Great at stakeholder management at all levels across a company including, partnering with C-level executives and working with VPs across technical and business teams
- Experienced in planning and leading strategic initiatives, including organisational planning and headcount planning
- An excellent communicator, in line with our Monzo Tone of Voice
- Experienced with budget management and financial modelling
- An ex-consultant or have consulting experience with a focus on operations management
- Proven as success as a people leader and manager
